Breastcancer.org was founded by Marisa C. Weiss, M.D. in 2000. This non-profit organization is dedicated to helping people make sense of the complex medical and personal information about breast health and breast cancer so they can make the best decisions for their lives.
Breastcancer.org becomes an educational and support lifeline for millions of people affected by breast cancer. Their support community is highly active and available to all seeking such an environment.

The mission of Breast Cancer Alliance is to improve survival rates and quality of life for those impacted by breast cancer through better prevention, early detection, treatment and cure.
To promote these goals, this organization invests in innovative research, breast surgery fellowships, education, dignified regional support, and screening for the underserved.

Since 2014 Breast Cancer Alliance has organized a month-long event called GoForPink.
Every October, UniWigs donates $1 from every sale to BCA, raising crucial funding for annual grants and providing significant educational and awareness-building opportunities to a national audience.

Walk For Alopecia
During Alopecia Awareness Month, the National Alopecia Areata Foundation (NAAF) hosts its annual "Walk For Alopecia". This campaign unites the alopecia community, supports research, raises awareness, and helps reduce stigma. Understanding the unique challenges children face when dealing with hair loss, we took action in 2023 by donating three wigs to children in need. As we enter 2024, we remain committed to our cause and are excited to continue our program. The selection process for the next beneficiaries is currently underway. Our mission is to bring joy and confidence to these special children by providing them with quality hair loss solutions.
