More than 50% of people who are over 50 years old are experiencing some sort of hair loss. Thus there are many different kinds of products or services that claim to be able to get your hair back after a few sessions of treatment on the market and made some serious money from this. However, can they really bring your hair back? The fact is NO. “Most of the products and services that are being sold in this industry don't work,” says Spencer Kobren founder of the American Hair Loss Association and host of The Bald Truth podcast.

Hair loss comes from Mother's side: False
Heredity is the most common cause of hair loss. Both male pattern baldness and female baldness can be inherited from either your mother's or father's side of the family, though you're more likely to have it if both of your parents had hair loss
“It's not a 100 percent accurate prediction of what's going to happen to you but if there's hair loss somewhere in your family, there's a good chance you may be dealing with it,” says Kobren.

However, keep pulling out hairs from the same follicle can cause traction alopecia. The plucking can cause damage to the follicle so that it might no longer be able to produce hair. Rest assured that occasionally pulling won't do any bad to the hair growing.
