Great price point for European hair!

I can't believe you can get European human hair at such an affordable cost! The Duchess is a lightweight piece, but the hair texture is a step up from their other line. I like that this wig has a bit of a natural wave to it as well as it makes it easier to style.

I recently purchased a wig and 2 beautiful toppers from Uniwigs at different times and they are all so soft, natural looking and comfortable to wear. Today was the first time I washed them. My purchases happened to be all Burmese hair, and Uniwigs always mentions it will wash and dry curly or wavy and I didn't think I would like that. I've always had curly hair so I've always wanted straight hair. But I was wrong! I LOVE IT!!! LOL!!! It's so beautiful!! It's full and looks more natural than when it was straight. It makes me look cool! :) The other one I straightened with a flat iron and it looks just like it did when it first came. It was easy.

They came out soft, untangled, no split ends, no shedding, and very little dye loss (I get more from my bio hair when I dye it). I added a little argan oil after drying and they are nourished and gorgeous!

It's been my experience that no hair piece comes out of the box perfect and that this alternative hair journey requires trial and error and educating ourselves. Uniwigs is very upfront that Burmese hair can be wavy, curly, after washing and each one is different. It's human hair and indiviual results vary. It's been my experience that Uniwigs toppers and wigs are of the highest quality and they behave as expected IF they are handled as instructed.

Uniwigs has countless YouTube videos by alternative hair experienced women who are education ambassadors that we can learn from! They share tips, tricks, expectations, care guidelines and toppers/wigs reviews. It takes time and patience to learn all of this and to find what works for you. If one doesn't work, it's okay! I've returned a topper with Uniwigs and it was seamless. They understand this can be a trial and error process. Uniwigs customer service have helped me with color choices after I sent them requested pics of my bio hair in natural light. They were honest and experienced and told me what would work and what wouldn't.

I recently suffered hair loss but I've always had a hair piece of some kind since I was a teenager as my hair has always been thinner than I'd like. I'm now 73. I recently found my old "bag o hair" (lol) that I've accumulated over the past 20 years and I realized I bought the SAME STYLE/COLOR WIG 8 times!! Some still had half cut lace on them! I had no idea what I was doing for years and I expected a miracle right out of the box. All 8 of my old wigs were crackly dry, tangled and abandoned by me. That's when I committed myself to learning about this seemingly complicated world of alternative hair before I wasted any more money. (All 8 have now had baths, oil and styling and they are now smilingly beautiful!)

I found Uniwigs and I am sooooo grateful that I did. My experience has been completely positive in every aspect from the beginning.

Their customer service has been responsive, friendly, helpful, and dedicated to taking good care of my needs in this experience. They are the only alternative hair company I've seen who's emphasis is on helping women suffering hair loss. They support charities dedicated to these causes and contribute part of their sales to these organizations.

I am NOT paid by Uniwigs. I do NOT work for them. This is a 100% honest review. I couldn't be happier with them. I trust them with my purchases. Their shipping is shockingly quick (4-5 days from China to CA!), no charge for shipping, no tarriffs, no problems. Some items ship seamlessly from their warehouse in CA.

I can't wait to pick out my next topper from Uniwigs!

I absolutely love my UniWigs Amber Silk Top Remy Human Hair Topper in Truffle Brown! I was nervous about wearing a hair topper for the first time, but it has made such a difference in how I feel about my hair.

The human hair is beautiful, soft, and looks very natural. The color blends really well with my own hair, and I love that the silk top gives the appearance of a natural scalp and part. It’s also lightweight and comfortable, which was very important to me because I didn’t want anything that felt heavy or looked like too much hair.

I also love that I can adjust the part and style it to blend with my own hair. It gives me the extra coverage I wanted without looking obvious.

I also have to mention the customer service at UniWigs was amazing. They were helpful, responsive, and made the whole experience so much easier, especially when I had questions.
