Firstly, prepare your own lashes. Use an eyelash curler to curl your lashes and then apply a thin coat of mascara.
Next, prepare the false lashes. Dab a thin layer of eyelash glue along the lash band and then wait 30 seconds for it to become tacky.
Quick trick: Bend the eyelashes to let the ends meet. This allows a better distribution of glue to reach the corners.
Now, apply the false lashes along your lash line, adjusting the inner and outer corners where necessary and then press for a few seconds to dry.
Wait for a few minutes for the lashes to dry, and then apply a layer of mascara to blend the falsies with your real lashes.
Finally, apply an eyeliner to camouflage the lash band.
Submerge the false eyelashes in water and leave to soak for 5 to 10 minutes. Rub them gently in the water to clean any mascara or dirt from the lashes.
Next, remove any remaining glue from the lash band with a pair of tweezers.
Take a paper towel and gently pat the lashes dry. Brush them to make sure no more mascara is stuck to them.
Sometimes lashes can lose their curl due to being in hot water. You can bend the lashes with your finger or use an eyelash curler to achieve a nice curl again.
False eyelashes are not a one-time use product. If treated with care, false eyelashes can be used again and again. Removing lashes properly can help them to last a long time.
Take a clean cotton pad or a cloth and add some makeup remover solution to it.
Gently press the cotton pad or cloth on your eyelid for a few seconds. The false lashes should start to loosen. Lightly keep pressing the lashes, applying more water or makeup remover where necessary.
The lashes should peel off easily. Make sure not to remove them until they are ready to come off.
Wash your face and eyes with water and a soap cleanser.
It's a good idea to quickly go over your fake eyelashes with the cotton pad to make them easier to clean.
To get a natural and wispy look with your false eyelashes, make sure you apply the lashes from the inner corner of your eye and get the band as close as possible to your real eyelashes.
Pinch your eyelashes and the false eyelashes together to blend and secure them. You can do this a couple of times so that they look like lash extensions!
Apply a coat of mascara to combine the lashes. Brush in a zigzag motion to reach between the eyelashes. To get a natural wispy look, avoid applying mascara all the way to the ends.
Add some dimension to your bottom lashes by applying a little mascara.
Separate the lashes and remove any clumps with a cotton swab.
Push the eyelashes down slightly, to add a little bit of definition on top but not too much so that you can achieve the wispy effect.
